ASSOCIATION OF BUILDERS AND DEVELOPERS OF PAKISTAN (ABAD) is a national level representative organization of builders and developers, formed in the year 1972 with the aim and objective of unifying and streamlining the construction activities of private sector. ABAD is registered under the Companies Ordinance, 1984 with Registration No. KAR No. 4967 of 1977-78 and licensed under Trade Organizations Ordinance, 2007 and it’s affiliated with the Federation of Pakistan Chamber of commerce and Industry (FPCCI).

Mr. Hassan Bakshi is a highly experienced member of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) and has been an integral part of the association for several years, particularly in decision-making and supporting fellow members on legal matters.
Elected as chairman in 2024, Mr. Bakshi brings a wealth of experience and expertise that positions him to effectively lead the association and represent its interests at top government meetings, where policies related to the housing industry are devised.

The Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) remains a driving force behind the growth of the country's construction sector. This year, continuing its tradition of democratic practices, ABAD successfully held its annual elections, with newly elected office bearers taking charge through a fair and transparent process.
The Annual General Meeting (AGM) for the year 2024 was held on September 28, with a large turnout of ABAD members attending to witness the transparent electoral process and the smooth transition of leadership to the newly elected team.
For the 2024-26 term, Muhammad Mr. Hassan Bakhshi was unanimously elected as Chairman, with Syed Afzal Hamid taking the position of Senior Vice Chairman, and Mr. Tariq Aziz Memon as Vice Chairman. Two days later, Mr. Ahmed Owais Thanvi was named Chairman of the Regional Committee.
The AGM was held at ABAD House, where members unanimously endorsed the new leadership for the 2024-26 term. During the event, ABAD's Patron-in-Chief, Mr. Mohsin Sheikhani, addressed attendees via video link from London.
