It was a pleasure to host Dr. Fida Bazai, DG NAVTTC Sindh, and Mr. Salman Haroon, Convener of the FPCCI TVET Committee, at ABAD today, to discuss the NAVTTC Balochistan program. The program aims to empower the youth of Balochistan through skills training, on-the-job training and employment in industry.

ABAD Chairman Mr. Hanif Gohar, Senior Vice Chairman Mr. Danish Bin Rauf, Vice Chairman Mr. Khursheed Alam and Mr. Moiz Zaidi welcomed the initiative and spoke about the need for skilled workers in the construction sector. Suleman Saleem, Convener of the Vocational Training Programs Committee, briefed the Chairman on ABAD’s partner institutes, which can be expanded as trade demand requires.

ABAD has offered on-the-job training to 300 students in the initial phase. We will now finalise the trades, courses and partner institutes together with NAVTTC.

Building on our earlier industry-led training work with NAVTTC, we look forward to opening real career pathways for young people in construction and allied trades.
