Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) delegation led by Chairman Mohammed Hassan Bakshi visited Trace Pakistan for a productive meeting focused on collaboration, workforce development, and sustainable growth in Pakistan’s construction & real estate sector. The delegation, including Chairman SR Ahmed Owais Thanvi and members of ABAD, highlighted ABAD’s commitment to strengthening industry partnerships and driving positive sectoral progress. During the visit, the Chairman also appreciated the efforts of Suleman Saleem, Convenor Vocational Training Programs Committee (ABAD), acknowledging his continued contribution and commitment toward advancing skill development initiatives and strengthening industry-aligned training programs.

A delegation from K Electric, led by Muhammad Farukh Zaman (Deputy Director Customer Experience Centers & New Connection), Sameer-ul-Haq Siddiqui (General Manager Corporate Customer Experience New Connection), and Nasir Abdul Qader (Deputy General Manager Corporate Customer Experience New Connection), visited Abad House on May 15, 2026. They met with ABAD's Vice Chairman Mr. Tariq Aziz and Chairman (SR) Mr. Owais Thanvi. A delegation led by Mr. S M Tanveer, Patron—in—Chief UBG, along with Mr. Hanif Gohar, Former Chairman ABAD, visited ABAD House. The delegation included Mr. Zubair Tufail, former president FPCCI, President KATI Ikram Rajput and other distinguished members of the business community.
The delegation was welcomed by ABAD Chairman Mohammed Hassan Bakshi. On the occasion, Senior Vice Chairman Syed Afzal Hameed, Vice Chairman Tariq Aziz, Chairman Southern Region Ahmed Owais Thanvi, Former Chairman ABAD Altaf Tai, and other ABAD members were also present. During the meeting, participants discussed the vital role of the construction industry in economic growth, employment generation, infrastructure development, and the importance of business-friendly policies to strengthen investor confidence and support Pakistan's economic progress.

Final Assessment conducted at Titan One (OLYMPIC GROUP) under the ABAD–NAVTTC Industry-Led Training Program, marking an important step in evaluating trainees’ skills and industry readiness.
Participants from Building Electrician and Plumber/Pipe Fitter trades demonstrated their hands-on expertise, technical understanding, and adherence to safety and quality standards. The assessment reflected the program’s strong focus on competency-based training aligned with real construction industry requirements.

A distinguished delegation from the NUTECH-IST Industry Support Consortium visited ABAD House to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
The delegation comprised Brig. Dr. Syed Adnan Qasim (Retd), Registrar IST; Brig. Dr. Atif Ali (Retd), Dean of Research / Director NUTECH Karachi Centre; Mr. Hasham Zafar, Director ORIC, IST; Mr. S. M. Intisar Hashim Jafri, Chief Coordinator NPO; Mr. Salman Noor Siddiqui, NUTECH Industrial Facilitator and Mr. Shahmeer Kausar, Manager NPO. The delegation was warmly received by Chairman ABAD Mohammed Hassan Bakshi, Chairman Southern Region Ahmed Owais Thanvi and Convener of Vocational Training Program Suleman Saleem, along with ABAD members.
The meeting focused on boosting cooperation, building stronger links between industry and academia, and also exploring ways to improve technical training, skill development, and future collaboration.

The delegation was led by Brig Kashif Naeem Khan Burki (ADHA/Project Director), accompanied by Colonel Muhammad Naveed Khaliq (Director Commercial & Joint Venture), Khuwaja Muzaffar Mehmood (Deputy Director Commercial & Joint Venture), Nasir Ahmed Khan (Director Marketing), and Major Zubair Nasir (Officer Incharge Karachi Sub Office). A meeting was held at Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) House on April 13, 2026. with a one-point agenda regarding the recent amendment in Sindh Building Control Authority (SBCA) bylaws, specifically concerning additional parking in public sale projects.
The session was chaired by Chairman ABAD Mohammed Hassan Bakshi along with Senior Vice chairman Syed Afzal Hameed, Vice Chairman Tariq Aziz, Chairman (SR) Ahmed Owais Thanvi, Former Chairman Altaf Tai and Convener of the SBCA Sub-Committee, Mustafa Sheikhani. Committee members and other ABAD members actively participated in the discussion, sharing constructive recommendations to ensure practical and effective regulatory improvements.
