ABAD GDA Meeting Held to Address Gwadar Housing Issues

Gwadar, 5 October 2026: Director General GDA Moin-ur-Rehman Khan chaired a meeting with ABAD representatives to discuss development works, plot possession, land matters, basic facilities, and other issues related to housing schemes in Gwadar.

ABAD Gwadar Chapter Convener Affan Qureshi, along with other ABAD members, attended the meeting in person, while ABAD Vice Chairman Syed Khursheed Alam and other ABAD members participated via video link.

The meeting was chaired by Chairman ABAD Mohammed Hassan Bakshi along with Senior Vice Chairman Syed Afzal Hameed, Vice Chairman Tariq Aziz, Chairman Southern Region Ahmed Owais Thanvi, Former Chairmen Mohsin Sheikhani & Muhammad Hanif Gohar.
The meeting was also attended by Press Club Secretary Aslam Khan, CEEJ President Raja Kamran & LGRA General Secretary Muhammad Ali Hafeez along with other members of the Press Club, CEEJ and LGRA. The meeting focused on strengthening coordination and fostering closer relations between ABAD and the journalist community.

A meeting regarding the subscription of units of “FIRST ABAD REIT” was held on Monday, 21 September 2026, at ABAD House, chaired by ABAD Chairman Mohammed Hassan Bakshi. The meeting discussed the subscription process and related matters. The acquisition of the property and formation of FIRST ABAD REIT had earlier been approved by the Executive Committee (EC). The meeting was attended by Vice Chairman ABAD Tariq Aziz, Chairman Southern Region Ahmed Owais Thanvi, former Chairmen ABAD Junaid Ashraf Taloo and Fayyaz Ilyas, along with members of ABAD.

ABAD Meeting on ROW Permission Matters with FWO

The Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) conducted a meeting with its members to discuss Right of Way (ROW) permission matters related to the Frontier Works Organization (FWO). The meeting focused on the financial and operational challenges faced by members in ongoing construction projects and deliberated on key concerns and possible solutions. Members also discussed and finalized the matters to be taken up with FWO in the upcoming meeting, with the aim of reaching an amicable and practical resolution.
