A distinguished delegation from the NUTECH-IST Industry Support Consortium visited ABAD House to strengthen collaboration between academia and industry.
The delegation comprised Brig. Dr. Syed Adnan Qasim (Retd), Registrar IST; Brig. Dr. Atif Ali (Retd), Dean of Research / Director NUTECH Karachi Centre; Mr. Hasham Zafar, Director ORIC, IST; Mr. S. M. Intisar Hashim Jafri, Chief Coordinator NPO; Mr. Salman Noor Siddiqui, NUTECH Industrial Facilitator and Mr. Shahmeer Kausar, Manager NPO. The delegation was warmly received by Chairman ABAD Mohammed Hassan Bakshi, Chairman Southern Region Ahmed Owais Thanvi and Convener of Vocational Training Program Suleman Saleem, along with ABAD members.
The meeting focused on boosting cooperation, building stronger links between industry and academia, and also exploring ways to improve technical training, skill development, and future collaboration.

A delegation from Defence Housing Authority Multan visited ABAD House on Monday 20 April 2026 and had a meeting with Chairman ABAD Mr Hassan Bakshi. The delegation was led by Brig Kashif Naeem Khan Burki (ADHA/Project Director), accompanied by Colonel Muhammad Naveed Khaliq (Director Commercial & Joint Venture), Khuwaja Muzaffar Mehmood (Deputy Director Commercial & Joint Venture), Nasir Ahmed Khan (Director Marketing), and Major Zubair Nasir (Officer Incharge Karachi Sub Office). The meeting was also attended by Vice Chairman Tariq Aziz, Chairman Southern Region Ahmed Owais Thanvi and other ABAD members. Discussions focused on strengthening collaboration, exploring joint ventures and promoting growth in the real estate sector.

They focused on strengthening bilateral ties, with both sides committed to expanding economic cooperation.
ABAD Chairman Mohammed Hassan Bakhshi highlighted Pakistan's construction sector's potential for international collaboration. They agreed to strengthen business linkages and work on practical steps to boost trade.
Vice Chairman Tariq Aziz, Southern Region Chairman Ahmed Owais Thanvi, and other members were also there.

Final assessment of AutoDesk Revit conducted at Indus Valley School of Art and Architecture under the ABAD–NAVTTC Industry-Led Training Program, marking an important milestone in hands-on, industry-aligned digital design education.
This assessment evaluated trainees on practical BIM application, model accuracy, and workflow efficiency using AutoDesk Revit, ensuring skills are aligned with real construction and architectural industry requirements. The program emphasizes market-relevant training, bridging the gap between technical education and professional practice, and preparing participants for immediate employability in the evolving built environment.

The Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD), in collaboration with the National Vocational and Technical Training Commission (NAVTTC), successfully conducted the assessment for the ABAD–NAVTTC Industry-Led Training Program at Trace Pakistan.
Under this industry-focused initiative, trainees in BIM, AutoDesk Revit, Building Electrician, and Plumbing completed their final assessments, demonstrating the technical knowledge, practical competencies, and hands-on expertise developed through structured, industry-aligned training.

A high-level luncheon meeting was held at ABAD House by the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) with DG National Accountability Bureau Rawalpindi Waqar Ahmed Chauhan and DG National Accountability Bureau Karachi Shakeel Ahmed Durrani to deliberate on the critical issue of illegal land encroachments faced by ABAD members.
