A successful and insightful Facility Management Workshop was conducted by ABAD in collaboration with Trace Pakistan and Qncted at ABAD House, Karachi.
This workshop marks the beginning of a broader initiative to build awareness and develop professional capacity in the field of Facility Management.
The session brought together professionals, students, and industry stakeholders to explore the evolving role of Facility Management and its growing importance in ensuring operational excellence, sustainability, and efficient asset management across organizations.

Chairman ABAD Mohammed Hassan Bakhshi visited the Government Elementary College of Education (GECE), Hussainabad, where he addressed students on the importance of the B.Ed. faculty and the vital role of teacher education in shaping the future of Pakistan. During the session, he highlighted the need for qualified educators and encouraged students to contribute to the development of the country’s education sector. ABAD Education, Training & Vocational Convener, Suleman Saleem, was also present on the occasion.

The Executive Committee (EC) Meeting of ABAD was held on Tuesday, 9th June 2026 at ABAD House. The meeting was chaired by Chairman ABAD, Mr. Mohammed Hassan Bakshi, and attended by Senior Vice Chairman Syed Afzal Hameed, Vice Chairman Tariq Aziz, Chairman Southern Region Ahmed Owais Thanvi, former Chairman Junaid Ashraf Taloo, along with other EC & RC members and a large number of prominent members.

K-Electric delegation led by Abu Bakar Head Of Supply & Transformation and Farrukh Zaman Deputy Director Customer Experience & New Connection visited ABAD House and held a meeting with ABAD leadership and members. During the session, K-Electric officials provided a detailed briefing on switch room requirements, the Design Book, and deviation-related matters to enhance transparency, improve coordination, and expedite the approval process.

Co-Convener of the Complaint Sub-Committee, Muhammad Ayoob and Nadeem Jeewa along with members of the Sub-Committee, attended the meeting. The office bearers were also present.
