ABAD, Fortify and Trace Pakistan have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to address the growing demand for skilled professionals in Fortify ERP through structured training and employment opportunities.
This collaboration aims to bridge the gap between industry requirements and workforce capabilities by equipping individuals with the practical knowledge and relevant skills needed to work with Fortify ERP. Through industry-aligned training, the initiative will prepare participants to meet emerging market needs while creating pathways to employment and professional growth.
By bringing together industry expertise, training capabilities and employment-focused initiatives, this partnership represents an important step towards developing a skilled workforce that can contribute to digital transformation and support the evolving needs of businesses.

It was a pleasure to host Dr. Fida Bazai, DG NAVTTC Sindh, and Mr. Salman Haroon, Convener of the FPCCI TVET Committee, at ABAD today, to discuss the NAVTTC Balochistan program. The program aims to empower the youth of Balochistan through skills training, on-the-job training and employment in industry.
ABAD Chairman Mr. Hanif Gohar, Senior Vice Chairman Mr. Danish Bin Rauf, Vice Chairman Mr. Khursheed Alam and Mr. Moiz Zaidi welcomed the initiative and spoke about the need for skilled workers in the construction sector. Suleman Saleem, Convener of the Vocational Training Programs Committee, briefed the Chairman on ABAD's partner institutes, which can be expanded as trade demand requires.
ABAD has offered on-the-job training to 300 students in the initial phase. We will now finalise the trades, courses and partner institutes together with NAVTTC.

Youngster members of the Association of Builders and Developers of Pakistan (ABAD) organized a prestigious ceremony to recognize the outstanding performance and valuable contributions of former office-bearers and honour the newly elected leadership for the 2026–2028 term.
During the ceremony, former ABAD Chairman Mohammed Hassan Bakshi was presented with a Gold Medal, while former Senior Vice Chairman Syed Afzal Hameed, former Vice Chairman Tariq Aziz and former Chairman Southern Region Ahmed Owais Thanvi were honoured with Silver Medals in recognition of their valuable services to the Association. A commemorative shield was also presented to the former Vice Chairman of ABAD Hyderabad Sub-Region.

The meeting focused on electricity-related challenges faced by the construction sector, the timely completion of construction projects and matters concerning electricity supply. ABAD Senior Vice Chairman Danish Bin Rauf, Vice Chairman Khursheed Alam, Chairman SR Syed Moeez Zaidi, convener K-Electric Sub Committee Abad Nusrat Mirza Chugtai along with ABAD members, were also present at the meeting.

On the occasion, Chairman ABAD congratulated the Solar Pakistan team on successfully organizing the exhibition and emphasized the need to promote solar energy across Pakistan. The meeting focused on the financial and operational challenges faced by members in ongoing construction projects and deliberated on key concerns and possible solutions. Members also discussed and finalized the matters to be taken up with FWO in the upcoming meeting, with the aim of reaching an amicable and practical resolution.
